Traveling with kids is no light load |
Not much to say, except it was another amazing trip. We were with good company again...Gma Debbie and Gpa Scott. We had early mornings there, as usual, which is fine, b/c the coffee was on and and the excitement in the boys' eyes was all worth it each morning.
Hudson made HUGE strides in his swimming on this trip. Bryan did lessons with him every day for an hour and by the end of the trip, he could swim on his own from one side to the other (the short distance). Another proud parent moment - high-five!
Carson was Mr. Independent in the water. He just floated around on his own and didn't want to be messed with. He also did lots of "cannon balls" on his own - it was like the cutest thing ever.
We had lots of good dinners and lots of good times. So many laughs. Bryan and I did a dinner one night as well, just the two of us. We sat outside at this beautiful restaurant and overlooked a golf course. About 6 or 7 wild pigs strolled by us as well - made for an interesting dinner! We had so much fun.
We did the rodeo again one night, but this time, Hudson sat on the bull! Ride 'em cowboy, Hud! He even threw his arm in the air - oh my gosh he is so cute.
I of course documented the trip with photos...can't wait for the next time!
